In the wake of the continued uncertainty surrounding the Covid19 pandemic, with the complete detriment to the live music industry, there are massive ramifications to the mental health of musicians who have lost their livelihood.
The podcast aims to address both the uncertainty around the pandemic and how musicians can boost their long-term wellbeing.
Each episode is one hour long, featuring musicians voicing their experiences and a mental health professional covering their topic of expertise. The themes covered in the podcast are dealing with uncertainty, beating imposter syndrome, finding your identity and being true to yourself, knowing your values, knowing your worth and learning how to create boundaries and how to build your wellbeing.

A Cuppa with Rachel was initially set up in 2015 as a web show on Rachel's Ceol Caint blog. It found its own home on 8radio.com where it broadcasts every Thursday at 9pm. The show is dedicated to promoting new, up and coming Irish talent; giving musicians a voice and a platform to showcase their music.
